Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk
Raven Gates made it all the way to the finals on Nick Viall‘s season of The Bachelor, losing out to Vanessa Grimaldi. She later appeared on Bachelor in Paradise season 4, where she met and fell in love with Adam Gottschalk, who competed on The Bachelorette season 13.
The couple wed in a small ceremony in April 2021, after postponing their original May 2020 nuptials due to the COVID pandemic.
The Bachelor Nation couple welcomed their first child, a son, on January 18, 2022. “Little man made it,” Adam revealed on Instagram, noting that Raven gave birth via an emergency C-section. He added, “Mom and baby are doing very well,” and that their bundle of joy arrived at 3:33 a.m. The little one measured in at 8 pounds, 6 ounces, and was 21 inches long. The couple later revealed that their son’s name is Gates Zev Gottschalk.
Raven gave birth to their second son on her birthday on July 23, 2023.
“Max Asa Gottschalk weighed 8 pounds and 1 ounce, 20 in long & was born at 8:10 am. My prayer for my sons have been that they have an unbreakable bond & each having their own separate God Given gifts to give to the world,” she wrote via Instagram shortly after his birth. “If the last few days are any indication of what the future holds, then my prayers have already been answered.”
