The other day, Kelly Clarkson publicly called out a toy and hobby store in Brooklyn called Art of Play. She claimed that they were rude to her and compared her experience to that of Julia Roberts in “Pretty Woman.” She also referred to the salesperson working there as “an idiot.” This prompted a widespread campaign of internet trolls against the store.
Art of Play has responded, saying that Clarkson was interested in buying an item that was not for sale. They also said that they treat all customers equally and that they have since been “attacked by 8 million people” since the incident.
