How to Get Tickets to the Show
Fans can enter the The Weekly Ticket Drop each week on Thursday across Victoria’s Secret’s social media channels to possibly win tickets to the show.
“So this idea [is to open] the doors a little bit, bringing fans into the fold, showing the heartbeat of this company, because a huge part of that heartbeat is the fans. That’s what it’s all about. The idea that we’re going to be inviting fans in different ways for fans to be able to win tickets to the show is a big initiative this year,” said the company’s Adam Selman in a statement.
Why the Show Is Moving to LA & Why It’s Being Called “Fandemonium”
This year’s show will be held in Los Angeles after the last two years in New York.
“I wanted this to be bigger and bolder than last year, and we couldn’t find a space in New York that could house all the things that we wanted to do. “It was a fun new challenge of like, okay, this is a different side of Americana and this sort of idea of the American dream, and I’m calling this year Fandemonium.”
“There’s going to be some unexpected people up in the mix, which is going to be fun. It’s that idea of Fandemonium. So if the fans have been asking for it, the goal is to try to make it happen. I’m going to plant those seeds too and see if they pick up on that.”
There Will Be a Documentary About Casting New Angels
There was also a casting call for new Angels, called Angels Among Us, which will stream as a YouTube documentary on September 27.
“I got thousands of DMs last year after the show of like, ‘I want to be an Angel. How do I become an Angel?’ It’s that idea that we’re in America’s backyard and that everyone’s got a unique story and connection to Victoria’s Secret. Finding that out from the fans directly was really, really special and really meaningful, and that informs everything we do beyond the show too,” Adam said.
