The Owens sisters are bringing their magic back to the big screen soon, and the cast is celebrating at the latest premiere in Los Angeles.
Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman reunited on the red carpet for the premiere of Practical Magic 2 on Monday night (August 31) in Los Angeles.
The co-stars posed for photos together while celebrating the upcoming release of the highly anticipated sequel to their beloved 1998 movie.
Sandra and Nicole were joined at the premiere by their younger co-stars Joey King and Maisie Williams, who play Sally Owens’ daughters Kylie and Antonia, respectively, in the new movie.
For the premiere, Joey wore a dramatic lace corset Ilya Migmoon gown featuring exaggerated sculptural hips, a black satin fishtail skirt and train, and dramatic feathered wings at the back.
Leaning further into the look’s darkly romantic feel, she accessorized with a necklace and rings from Bulgari’s iconic Serpenti collection.
Sandra and Nicole are returning as sisters Sally and Gillian Owens nearly 30 years after first bringing the characters to life.
Returning stars Dianne Wiest and Stockard Channing are also back as Aunt Jet and Aunt Frances, while the sequel adds Joey, Maisie, Lee Pace, Xolo Mariduena, and Solly McLeod to the cast.
Warner Bros. confirms the movie will open in North American theaters on September 11. Watch the trailer!
The sequel finds the Owens family once again dealing with the curse that has haunted their family for generations. Sandra and Nicole also serve as producers, with Susanne Bier directing.
The L.A. premiere comes just days after the cast traveled to London for the movie’s world premiere and several other press events.
FYI: Sandra is wearing Louis Vuitton. Nicole is wearing Versace, and Maisie is wearing Margiela.
