The ever-expanding Duggar family is about to get even bigger very soon.
Two kids of 19 Kids and Counting fame are welcoming new little bundles of joy into the world and are celebrating together with a big reveal.
Jana Duggar Wissmann and her husband Stephen Wissmann had a joint baby shower with Jana’s twin brother John-David Duggar and his pregnant wife Abbie Burnett Duggar.
At the shower, the two couples revealed the sexes of their babies at the same time.
In a new vlog posted on Jana’s YouTube channel, the family gathered together and made their guesses as to what each of them would be having before the big reveal.
Then the two couples stood in front of a white backdrop reading “He or She?” ready for the smoke canons to reveal pink or blue.
The two smoke canons erupted simultaneously, revealing blue smoke for Jana and Stephen to symbolize a baby boy, and pink smoke for John-David, Abbie, and their two kids, Grace and Charlie, to symbolize a baby girl.
The twins’ younger sister, Jessa Duggar Seewald, was among those who correctly guessed the babies’ sexes.
“I think Jana’s having a boy, I think Abbie’s having a girl,” she predicted in the vlog, before the big reveal.
On September 24, Jana shared an update on her pregnancy on Instagram, posting a picture of her posing with her baby bump, captioned, “Halfway through pregnancy and I’m still in awe! It sure has flown by! I love feeling those tiny kicks these days!”
Similarly, Abbie shared an update on September 27 on her and John-David’s joint Instagram account, saying, “A little over half way! We had a pretty rough go of it the first half and I am so thankful to be feeling much more like myself again! God is good! #pregnant #hyperemesis”
These two babies will be the 40th and 41st grandchildren for Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar.
