It’s Britmas in November, y’all! Another outtake from Britney Spears’ ninth studio album Glory (2016), has surfaced.
Produced by Matthew Koma, “Youtopia” was recorded during the same sessions that produced “Swimming in the Stars,” which was first released as a an 11/11 Singles Day exclusive back in 2020.
The track’s sound has led fans to speculate that “Youtopia” is the song Koma referenced in an interview with MuuMuse in mid-2015 as “channeling [English rock band] Squeeze.”
