Kelly Clarkson Performs ‘Piece By Piece’ with Updated Lyrics

Kelly Clarkson went viral back in 2016 while performing an emotional, piano driven rendition of her single “Piece By Piece,” a tribute to then-husband Brandon Blackstock, on the final season of Fox’s American Idol. While many fans have been assuming she’d never perform it again after news broke of her divorce, Clarkson surprised the audience of her Las Vegas residency Chemistry last night with an updated version of the song, with empowering lyrical changes that had the crowd cheering loudly.
