Tom Welling is having a laugh over his viral hotel window photo!
The 49-year-old Smallville actor made headlines over the weekend after accidentally sharing a revealing photo of himself on Instagram while showing off the view from his New York City hotel room.
Now, Tom appears to be taking the situation in stride, leaving a funny comment on a viral Instagram video about the incident.
“Came for the sights,” Tom wrote from his verified Instagram account.
The comment appeared on an Instagram Reel joking about someone spotting Tom standing at his hotel window on October 10.
Tom‘s response quickly attracted attention, receiving more than 35,000 likes as of Sunday afternoon (October 11).
His Smallville co-star Michael Rosenbaum also got in on the joke!
Michael shared his own hotel window reflection photo with a small sign reading “Perverts” positioned over his lower body, poking fun at Tom‘s earlier post.
“Just looking after my boy @tomwelling @newyorkcomiccon,” Michael wrote.
Tom then reposted the photo to his own Instagram Story, adding Jay-Z and Alicia Keys‘ song “Empire State of Mind” to the post.
The two actors were in New York City for a Smallville reunion at New York Comic Con, where they joined Kristin Kreuk and Erica Durance to celebrate the show’s upcoming 25th anniversary.
Tom‘s original photo was reportedly visible on Instagram for several hours before he deleted it, but screenshots quickly spread across social media.
