Tom Cruise has “so much respect” for the Prince and Princess of Wales.
Tom Cruise respects the royals
The 64-year-old actor has spent time with the royal couple over the years, and Tom has described the Prince and Princess as “beautiful people and fun”.
He told Extra: “I have so much respect for them.
“You know, they’re amazing people, and how dedicated they are to their country and also what they give to the world. And they’re just beautiful people and fun, very funny.”
Tom observed that the Princess is “intelligent and fun”.
He shared: “She’s got a great sense, incredible sense of humour. I mean, obviously, very intelligent and fun.
“They’re so charismatic and so elegant.”
Tom stars in the new black comedy film Digger, which is directed by Alejandro G. Inarritu.
The movie star feels proud to be part of the project, and he’s thrilled about the Oscar buzz surrounding the film.
He said: “It’s the most original film I’ve ever seen, let alone been part of. The character, the tone, it’s totally original. And Digger is an outrageous character … Says things that people might think and some things that people would never think to think or think to say. It’s just. It’s totally outrageous.”
Meanwhile, Tom recently explained that he’s always chasing a “dream”.
The actor has enjoyed huge success in his career, but he’s constantly chasing fresh challenges, describing himself as “an all-in kind of guy”.
The Hollywood star – who remains one of the most bankable actors in the movie business – told GQ magazine: “Life, I’m coming right at it. It’s coming at me and I’m coming right at it.
“I am not a halfway kind of person. I’m just not. And I never want to be like: ‘You hit that peak.’ There’s always a new dream.
“You’re asking me about being 64. I’m going, there’s so much life, and there’s always another dream. I think that a person without a dream, they’ve decided not to live.”
