Anne Hathaway is currently in the midst of doing press for her fifth movie this year!
The 43-year-old actress will next star in Verity, the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover‘s novel of the same, which hits theaters on October 2nd.
While doing press of the upcoming movie, Anne made an appearance on the Talk of the Townsends podcast, where she opened up about her character eating hot wings and wanting to do Hot Ones for this press tour.
In Verity, her author character goes on her own press tour and actually goes on Hot Ones, and Anne shared that while filming, she “did the first three wings for real, and then I switched to dummy wings.”
As she previously did Hot Ones for the movie, she was hoping that she would get to do it in real life, as herself, to promote Verity as “it just made sense.” However, her doctor shot down the idea, and for good reason!
“But then I got pregnant, and my doctor said I couldn’t do it because I might go into early labor,” she revealed.
“So I still haven’t done the gauntlet yet,” Anne added. “I’m not sure when that’s gonna happen. Maybe next year.”
Anne first revealed she was pregnant back in June. She and her husband, Adam Schulman (pictured above), are expecting their child together. They are also parents to sons Jonathan, 10, and Jack, 6.
