Al Roker’s absence was announced by Savannah Guthrie
During the broadcast, Savannah Guthrie explained, “We have Dylan taking over for Al, who had to leave a little bit early.”
Dylan Dreyer then said, “Yeah, a little switcheroo again this morning.”
What happened to Al Roker today?
“Well, got out of the Today show early because I’ve got jury duty. It’s everybody’s civic duty to do the duty,” Al said on Instagram today!
“Hey now!!! All rise!! Time for #juryduty,” he captioned the video clip.
When will Al Roker be back on the Today show?
Craig Melvin shared during the broadcast: “Al had to step out for just a little bit. He’ll be back tomorrow.”
It looks like Al Roker will be back for Tuesday’s broadcast, though it’s unclear if he will leave early again. Stay tuned.
