Sarah Pidgeon has booked her next TV role!
Fresh off her Emmy nomination for Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette, Deadline has announced that the 30-year-old actress has been cast in the Netflix limited series Enigma Variations, joining previous announced stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Riley Keough, and Alicia Vikander.
The series is based on the 2018 bestselling novel of the same name by André Aciman.
Here’s the synopsis: “Enigma Variations will star Aaron Taylor-Johnson and tells the story of a man remade by the lovers who ignite and undo him over the course of six transformative years. It’s an intimate yet sweeping portrait of masculinity, sexuality, and modern love — and in a world of endless choices, it asks the question: will we know when we’ve found the one?”
In the series, Sarah will be playing Chloe, one of the female partners Aaron‘s character Paul sees every four. Riley is playing Maud and Alicia is playing Claire.
Along with Sarah‘s casting, it has also been announced that Younger actor Peter Hermann will be playing Isaac and Succession actress Juliana Canfield will be playing Luciana. Italian actress Francesca Cavallin has also joined the cast in an undisclosed role.
Fellow previously announced cast members are Devon Terrell as Manfred, Nicholas Podany as Harlan, and Carl Clemons-Hopkins as Noah.
Enigma Variations doesn’t have a release date yet.
