Dua Lipa has opened up about her and husband Callum Turner’s “magical” wedding day.
Dua Lipa and Callum Turner followed 2 pieces of advice on wedding day
The showbiz power couple tied the knot in Palermo, Italy, in June, and the 31-year-old pop star and Masters of the Air actor embraced their big day by experiencing it as if they were guests of their own nuptials.
She told Vogue Italia: “The wedding day was magical.
“We received so much advice, but we decided to follow just two pieces of it: to experience the day as if we were guests ourselves and to constantly seek each other out in the crowd, never losing sight of one another.
“That way, we really have so many memories together.”
After marrying Eternity actor Callum, Dua is now hoping to delve into “what happens when you truly find love” when she is writing songs.
She added: “Talking about being heartbroken is a very common thing.
“When I was younger, I found much more inspiration in the search and desire. And that’s because feeling broken is a very strong and loud emotion.
“But now I want to discover what happens when you truly find love.
“I’m interested in the complexities of a relationship, its quieter aspects, the little things.”
Last month, Callum, 36, admitted starting a family with Dua is one of his priorities.
Asked his plans for the next decade, he told Esquire UK for their August 2026 digital cover: “More of the same. Family.”
Pressed if family is a priority, he replied: “Obviously, yeah, I’m 36. I’d like to have a family and raise some kids.”
A week before their Italian wedding, Callum and Dua tied the knot in a low-key ceremony at London’s Old Marylebone Town Hall on May 30th.
The Capture actor said exchanging vows with his partner of two years was the “most beautiful” day of his life.
He said: “It was amazing, and it was… it was the most beautiful day of my life.
“We went to the park yesterday, and everyone who walked past said, ‘Congratulations’. It was pretty surreal.”
Dua and Callum have a shared passion for travel, and he said it is “nice” to have found a partner who wants to be with him as much as he wants to be with her.
He said: “We’re all part of the same circus.
“We both have the same thing in our head that says, ‘Run, roam, see the world, explore and discover.’ And yeah, we love doing it together.
“It’s nice, to find someone that you love and who loves you and you want to be around all the time.”
