Emily Compagno has been named a full-time co-host for The Five.
The Five is reportedly the number one program in all of cable and part of Fox News Channel. Her joining will go into effect on September 8. To take up her new role, Emily will be leaving Outnumbered, which she has co-hosted since 2021.
Emily will already be familiar to The Five viewers as she has appeared regularly as a rotating co-host. She joins the current permanent lineup of Greg Gutfield, Dana Perino, and Jesse Waters. Harold Ford Jr. and Jessica Tarlov will continue sharing the rotating liberal seat.
Who is Dana Perino‘s husband? She spoke out about her relationship and their 18-year age gap.
Emily is filling the permanent seat left open by Jeanine Pirro, who departed Fox News in May 2025 to become the U.S. Attorney for Washington, D.C.
Fox has not named Emily‘s permanent replacement on Outnumbered. Until that time, her seat will be occupied by rotating Fox personalities.
Who are Jesse Watters‘ wife and kids? He’s married with 4 children.
“Emily is a highly accomplished host whose energy and talent have made her a standout across FOX News Media, and we are thrilled to officially welcome her to the show,” said Suzanne Scott, CEO of Fox News Media, in the initial announcement.
Emily responded, “I couldn’t be more honored to joinThe Five, a team I have long admired and have been fortunate to work alongside over the years. Having an official seat at the table on what I truly believe is the most fun show on television is an incredible privilege. I am grateful for the opportunity and can’t wait to get started.”
