Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test is returning for a fifth season this fall!
The Fox reality series will be coming back to television soon, and there’s a cast of 15 new recruits set for the celebrity social experiment.
What is Special Forces season five about?
This season, the recruits will be deployed in Malaysia to endure the world’s toughest test in the most hostile environment a soldier could operate in… the jungle. Recruits must adapt to uncomfortable conditions, unpredictable terrain and harsh jungle warfare tasks, including a claustrophobic, high-pressure search of an underground bunker to find crucial military weapons; a supply load retrieval while suspended 300 feet above the jungle floor; endure a barrage of chemical gassing while retrieving coordinates of an enemy vessel; and much more. In this experiment, there are no votes and no eliminations – just survival. These celebrities, who are so used to being in the spotlight, will quickly learn the meaning of “no guts, no glory” – and no glam.
When does the new season premiere?
Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test will premiere on Thursday, September 24th at 9 pm ET/PT on Fox, and streaming the next day on Hulu.

Alexia Umansky
Alexia is best known for appearing on reality shows Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Buying Beverly Hills. She is a real estate agent and the eldest daughter of Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky.
Mauricio Umansky
Mauricio is a real estate mogul and CEO of The Agency, which has offices across the world. However, he is best known for appearing on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alongside his now-estranged wife, Kyle Richards, and for his own Netflix show, Buying Beverly Hills, which centered on real estate agents at The Agency.
While Special Forces has had a mother-daughter duo previously, as well as a married couple, Mauricio and Alexia are the first father-daughter duo to take part in the show simultaneously.
