The Los Angeles Lakers NBA team will have two new owners: Joshua Kushner and Bob Iger.
The fan favorite NBA team will be sold for $12 billion, which is considered a record-breaking price in the NBA world. They are purchasing the team from Mark Walter, who bought the franchise last year for around $10 billion.

Who are Josh Kushner and Bob Iger?
You may be wondering more about these two entrepreneurs.
Joshua Kushner is actually married to Karlie Kloss, and he’s the younger brother of Jared Kushner, who is married to Ivanka Trump. Joshua is the founder and managing partner of the venture capital firm Thrive Capital. He also co-founded Oscar Health.
Bob Iger is also a regular at Hollywood events, as he’s the former CEO of the Walt Disney Company. He served in this position from 2005–2020 and again from 2022–2026.
