Music journalist and culture writer, Rachel Brodsky, wrote an in-depth profile on Tate McRae titled How Tate McRae Found Her Way for TIME in 2025.
She took to social media to defend Ms. Alberta, writing, “I’ve interviewed her; I promise she is very much NOT MAGA.”
When someone replied asking if McRae was “afraid of losing audience,” she replied with, “It’s not my place to get into the ‘why’ of this thing, because we were speaking off the record. But no, it’s not because she’s afraid of losing audiences.”
