Kamu Kirk, a housemate on the current 28th US season of Big Brother is under fire over a viral video in which he “joked” about George Floyd.

Back in December, Kamu shared several clips to his social media of a man being arrested outside of his house. As the clips show, the man was screaming in distress, crying out things like “I can’t breathe!” Kamu thought it was a good idea to film all of this, post it online, mock the man and crack a “joke” about it saying: “I can’t breathe, I can’t breathe, I can’t breathe. Bro thinks he’s George Floyd.” He was also caught previously sharing the post: “Who’s storming [the US Capitol] with me?”.

Most recently on Big Brother, Kamu rose to power as HOH (head of household) and made Jason De Puy (aka “Salina EsTittes” of RuPaul’s Drag Race fame) the house target, successfully prompting the rest of the cast to vote to evict him unanimously during the live eviction episode after previously ganging up on him to “call him out.” During the re-nomination ceremony, Kamu sarcastically called Jason his “zesty bestie,” which many fans called out as homophobic, including former Brother Cast member Frankie Grande, who’s been urging CBS to remove him from the game for his current and past behavior.
