This is a follow-up to this post and this post about their fight on X and his subsequent “apologies” for his racism.
In response to Matty Healy’s racist remarks, attacks against her character and threats of violence against her on X (which are now scrubbed from the platform as he deactivated his account), Azealia Banks has sent the 1975 singer a cease & desist to the tune of $1 million to settle, as well as a public apology. She posted the full letter from her lawyer on X and you can read part two here, in which the lawyer threatens it will turn into a full lawsuit should be not comply.
