Although I love to cook, I’m always down for a quick and easy meal. My weeknights just get so busy! And when I have a particularly packed night ahead of me, I go straight to my freezer to see what delicious and nearly effortless options I have. Lately, one frozen meal I’ve been loving is MìLà’s Caramelized Scallion Noodles. It’s so good, I can’t get enough!
MìLà’s Caramelized Scallion Noodles Are an Easy and Totally Delicious Meal
You’ll get four packs of noodles for $33 from the brand’s website. With each pack, you’ll get a scallion oil soy sauce packet, the noodles (of course), and a little pouch of fried scallions to top your dish with. The actual cooking process is super straightforward: Add the noodles to a pot of boiling water and let them cook for six minutes, during which time you’ll quickly heat the sauce packet in a bowl of hot water so it’s no longer frozen. That’s really all there is for the cooking. After that, you’ll toss the drained noodles with the sauce and sprinkle on the fried scallions for a little crunch. Easy-peasy!
My Honest Review of MìLà’s Caramelized Scallion Noodles
The cooking process was so easy that I was able to make these Caramelized Scallion Noodles for a quick weekday lunch during work. And once I took that first bite, I couldn’t put my fork down. The thin, spaghetti-like noodles are nice and chewy, while the sauce has a light scallion flavor that isn’t too salty. The fried scallions offer a delicious crunch and little salty bite that complement the sauce well. Altogether, I thought these noodles were absolutely delicious.
On their own, these noodles are great for folks who love onion-y flavors and don’t want spiciness (these noodles aren’t spicy at all). That said, I think they would be absolutely amazing with a spoonful of chili crisp over the top. And next time I make them, that’s exactly what I’m going to do!
