Tonight at The Eras Tour in Brazil, Rio, before Taylor performed, a fan named Ana passed away from heatstroke. It was over 100 degrees and fans were not allowed to bring water into the stadium. Taylor’s team passed out water and Taylor herself directed water to audience members while she was on stage.
On her IG Taylor writes, “I can’t believe I’m writing these words but it is with a shattered heart I say we lost a fan earlier tonight before my show…There is very little information I have other than that she was incredibly beautiful and far too young… I want to say now I feel this loss deeply and my broken heart goes out to her family and friends. This is the last thing I ever thought would happen when we decided to bring this tour to Brazil.”
