Chappell Roan has cut ties with her agency, Wasserman, after CEO and founder Casey Wasserman was named in files related to late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

“As of today, I am no longer represented by Wasserman, the talent agency led by Casey Wasserman,” the “Pink Pony Club” singer shared in an Instagram Story on Monday, February 9.

Roan, real name Kayleigh Rose Amstutz, continued, “I hold my teams to the highest standards and have a duty to protect them as well. No artist, agent or employee should ever be expected to defend or overlook actions that conflict so deeply with our own moral values.”

“I have deep respect and appreciation for the agents and staff who work tirelessly for their artists and I refuse to passively stand by,” Roan, 27, added. “Artists deserve representation that aligns with their values and supports their safety and dignity. This decision reflects my belief that meaningful change in our industry requires accountability and leadership that earns trust.”

Us Weekly has reached out to Wasserman for comment.

Last month, documents emerged linking Casey Wasserman, 51, who is also the president of the organizing committee for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, to Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell.

According to The Guardian, in one email sent in 2003, Wasserman told Maxwell, “I think of you all the time. So, what do I have to do to see you in a tight leather outfit?” In another email, sent in April that same year, Maxwell offered to give Wasserman a massage that could “drive a man wild.”

“I deeply regret my correspondence with Ghislaine Maxwell which took place over two decades ago, long before her horrific crimes came to light,” Wasserman said in a statement to Deadline earlier this month. “I never had a personal or business relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. As is well documented, I went on a humanitarian trip as part of a delegation with the Clinton Foundation in 2002 on the Epstein plane. I am terribly sorry for having any association with either of them.”

Maxwell, 64, is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence after being found guilty in December 2021 on federal charges of conspiracy to entice minors to travel to engage in illegal sex acts, conspiracy to transport minors to participate in illegal sex acts, transporting a minor to participate in illegal sex acts, sex trafficking conspiracy and sex trafficking of a minor.

The Department of Justice released another tranche of federal documents — dubbed the Epstein files — in January following investigations into the disgraced financier. Epstein died by suicide in August 2019 while awaiting trial for sex trafficking of minors and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of minors.
