Anna Leigh Wilson is addressing her “controversial” flirting with Leo Dionicio on The Challenge season 42.
The 31-year-old was eliminated from The Challenge: Cutthroat on Wednesday’s (October 6) episode, and spoke out about the flirting with her co-star in a new interview.
During a post-elimination interview with Page Six, Anna Leigh owned up to what she did and revealed she told her husband about it as soon as she could.
“I did something pretty controversial on national television,” she told the publication.
“I made a mistake,” Anna Leigh added. “Also, I’ve recognized that accountability doesn’t mean that I have to plead guilty to the director’s cut that everybody else wrote for me.”
Earlier in the season, Anna Leigh and Leo had an intimate conversation, admitting they were both horny, with him telling her she was his “eye candy,” and that he was “trying to f***ing control” himself.
After the scene went viral, Anna Leigh took to her Instagram to admit she “crossed the line” and said she apologized to her husband after getting home from filming.
While speaking to Page Six, the reality star said she told her husband what had happened “the moment I got my phone.
“There was no surprise there,” she shared of it airing. “From my perspective, I’ll own every embarrassing thing that I actually did this season. And trust me, there’s enough material there to go around.”
“But I don’t need everybody adding in bonus scenes,” Anna Leigh added. “That’s what’s making my life so much harder, and honestly that’s what they did when we were on the show filming. It’s just non-stop putting out fires and trying to defend myself.”
Just a few weeks ago, Leo was among three competitors who were removed from the show, with host TJ Lavin telling the others that they “broke the code of conduct” on the show. Find out what allegedly happened here!
If you don’t know, Anna Leigh is best known for competing on CBS’ The Amazing Race, where she teamed up with her dad on season 35.
Leo is best known for first appearing on Love Island USA season five, where he was the runner up with Kassandra Castillo.
