Josh Hartnett is back on the big screen in Verity, and viewers may be curious to know more about his life away from Hollywood.
The 48-year-old actor stars alongside Anne Hathaway and Dakota Johnson in the new movie, which arrived in theaters on Friday (October 2).
While promoting the film, Josh opened up about his wife Tamsin Egerton, 37, praising her for the support she gives their family while his work takes him away from home.
The couple have been together for more than a decade, share four children and have generally kept their family life out of the spotlight.

Josh and Tamsin met while working together on the movie The Lovers.
In a 2024 interview, Josh explained that they played husband and wife in the film and developed feelings for each other during production. They began dating after filming wrapped and initially spent much of their relationship traveling between the United States and England.
Their relationship eventually became more serious as they spent increasing amounts of time together.

Tamsin Egerton is an English actress who has appeared in a number of movies and television shows over the years.

Josh and Tamsin quietly tied the knot on November 5, 2021.
News of their private wedding became public several months later in March 2022.

While promoting Verity, Josh spoke about balancing his career with life as a father and credited Tamsin with carrying more of the responsibility at home when his filming schedule takes him away.
He described his wife as “amazing” and acknowledged how much she does for their family while he is working.
“Luckily, I have an amazing wife who kind of picks up the slack when I go away,” he said.
The couple currently live with their children on a small farm in Hampshire, England.
