Whitney Leavitt is still cheering for husband Conner Leavitt despite his elimination from Dancing With the Stars.

“Conner, I am so proud of you,” the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star, 33, wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, September 16, alongside mirror selfies with Conner, 32. “I hope you never let this ending take away from what you just did. You stepped so far outside of your comfort zone, worked your ass off, put yourself out there, and went for it.”

Whitney continued, “People can have their opinions, but I know you. They’ve only seen a fraction of what you’re capable of. And I can’t wait for them to find out! I hope this lit a fire in you!”

Whitney then encouraged her husband, whom she married in August 2016, to “keep saying yes” and “putting yourself out there.”

Melissa Rycroft, Jordan Fisher, Heather Morris and more Dancing With the Stars contestants have sparked significant discourse over the years for seemingly having an unfair advantage on the ABC competition. Former pro dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy made waves during season 8 when he told TVGuide that it was “unfair” that Rycroft, who has a background in […]

“Keep going after the things that scare you. F*** the noise and go after whatever you want next baby!” she wrote before noting that their three kids, Sedona, 6, Liam, 4, and Billy, 22 months, are “so proud” of Conner.

“I’m so proud and lucky to be your wife, and I hope you’re so f***ing proud of yourself too! This is just the beginning, babe 🤍,” she concluded.

The photos showed Conner holding a large bouquet of roses as he and Whitney smiled for the camera and shared a kiss.

DWTS season 35 kicked off on Tuesday, September 15, with the male celebrity contestants dancing to Billboard No. 1 hits from their birth year. Conner and first-time pro dance partner Adele Zaikman performed a salsa to Tag Team’s “Whoomp! (There It Is),” earning a judge’s score of 12 out of 30.

Despite not having the lowest score of the night — Guillermo Rodriguez and Witney Carson received a 10 — Conner’s score combined with viewers’ votes was still not enough to move forward in the competition.

“This has been the most fun,” Conner said after his elimination. “I have the greatest partner in the world in Adele [and] I can’t wait for the world to get to see her talents.”

Whitney and their kids were in the audience for Conner’s DWTS debut, along with a handful of fellow MomTok personalities. Conner’s participation in the dance competition comes one year after Whitney herself danced on season 34 alongside pro Mark Ballas. The pair were eliminated in the semifinals.

Ahead of season 35, Conner exclusively shared with Us the advice his wife gave him about the show.

“There aren’t words in the English language to describe how proud I am of my wife,” he said. “She has taken advantage of every opportunity she’s gotten, she’s seized her moment, and when we found out I would have an opportunity on the show, she looked me dead in the eye and said, ‘This experience goes by really fast. You need to be present and enjoy it, soak it up and learn everything you can.’”

The two-part Dancing With the Stars premiere continues on ABC and Disney+ Wednesday, September 16, at 8 p.m. ET.
