South Park is finally returning with new episodes!
The long-running animated Comedy Central series returns for Season 29 on Wednesday night (September 16), but fans shouldn’t expect a new episode every week.
The new season will consist of six episodes airing every other Wednesday through the end of November.
What Time Does South Park Season 29 Premiere?
South Park Season 29 premieres Wednesday, September 16 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central.

Why Is South Park Called South America for Season 29?
Ahead of the new season, creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone announced that the show was changing its name to South America.
The temporary rebrand is a joke about President Donald Trump renaming Lake Ontario as Lake America, and Apple and Google subsequently updating their maps in the United States to reflect the new name.
“Inspired by the bravery and patriotism of Apple and Google, we are changing the name of South Park to SOUTH AMERICA,” Trey and Matt said while announcing the change.
They also took a jab at the show’s parent company, adding, “We especially want to thank our parent company Paramount — a Skydance Capitulation.”
The South America name is carrying over into the Season 29 premiere.
What Is the South Park Season 29 Premiere About?
The Season 29 premiere is titled “South American Biker Gangs” and will focus on the arrival of e-bikes in town.
“When e-bikes arrive in South America, the boys take over the streets and the parents of South America can hardly recognize South America,” reads the official synopsis.
