Maria Shriver and Katherine Schwarzenegger are coming together for an important cause.
The mother-daughter duo attended an exclusive Oh My Mahjong benefit for the Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement and Cleveland Clinic at The Hideaway in Beverly Hills on Tuesday (September 15).
Oh My Mahjong founder Megan Trottier hosted the intimate afternoon alongside special guest Maria, bringing guests together for conversation, mahjong and philanthropy while raising awareness and funds for women’s brain health and dementia research.
Megan founded Oh My Mahjong after being deeply inspired by her grandmother’s battle with Alzheimer’s disease, and giving back has become a central part of the company’s mission. Oh My Mahjong has partnered with Maria and the Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement, donating a percentage of sales to support research and advocacy surrounding Alzheimer’s disease and women’s brain health.
During the event, Oh My Mahjong presented Maria with a $150,000 check in support of the organization’s work.
Maria’s daughters Katherine and Christina Schwarzenegger were also in attendance, along with producer Suzanne Todd, actress Rachael Harris and Mahjong Megachurch’s Jared Eng.
Guests spent the afternoon enjoying open mahjong play while supporting a cause close to both Megan and Maria’s hearts.
