U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Dallas) was escastic to take the stage at AT&T Stadium in Arlington on Saturday night to honor Usher and Chris Brown.
Crockett, a congresswoman representing District 30 in South Dallas, appeared at their R&B Tour, as did state Rep. Venton Jones (D-Dallas). Crockett stood alongside Brown and Usher honoring them with remarks, then presented them with a Congressional Record recognition from the U.S. House of Representatives.
“Right now, we are experiencing Black joy to the highest level,” Crockett told the sold-out crowd. “And I wanted to make sure we wanted to document that in the Congressional record.”
