The sixth movie in the beloved horror-comedy franchise made its streaming debut on Thursday (September 3), nearly three months after arriving in theaters.
The movie reunited franchise favorites Anna Faris, Regina Hall, Marlon Wayans and Shawn Wayans for the first time in years.

Scary Movie is now streaming exclusively on Paramount+ as of September 3.
The movie earned more than $230 million at the worldwide box office before making its streaming debut, according to Paramount+.

Yes! An Extended Cut of Scary Movie is also available to stream on Paramount+.
The streamer added both the theatrical version and the Extended Cut on September 3.
Anna previously revealed that at least one joke was cut from the theatrical release.

What Is Scary Movie (2026) About?
The Core Four are back in the killer’s crosshairs and no horror movie IP is safe when the team reunites to slash through reboots, remakes, requels, prequels, sequels, spin-offs, elevated horror, origin stories, anything with the word legacy in it, and every “final chapter” that absolutely isn’t final. Nothing is sacred, no trope survives and every line gets crossed.
Michael Tiddes directed the movie, with Marlon, Shawn, Keenen Ivory Wayans, Craig Wayans and Rick Alvarez among the writers.
