Ariana Madix is responding to speculation about her future as the host of Love Island USA.
The 41-year-old reality TV star has addressed rumors that she may not return for the next season, a position she has held for the past three seasons of the Peacock dating competition.
During a recent interview, Ariana addressed the rumors of her exit and noted she’s just as confused as everyone else.
“I do [see that]. And obviously I can’t speak yet to what’s going to be happening next season,” she told Us Weekly, adding she “can’t say anything that speaks to” season nine plans.
“I do wonder about that sometimes. [People on social media have] been saying that every year, and I always wonder where that comes from,” Ariana added about constant speculation. “I have seen comments online that say there’s some sort of two-year thing and I’ve always wondered where did that [rumor] come from?”
“But you know what? It is really nice because so many of those comments will be so positive in the sense that they’re wondering because they’re hoping that I will be back. So that’s really great,” she says. “But yeah, nothing’s been said. So I don’t know where they come up with that.”
While her return for Love Island USA season nine isn’t cemented, as Peacock has not announced the show’s renewal, she will definitely be back on screens with Love Island stars!

“We did announce already that I will be hosting Love Island Games next year,” Ariana shared.
Back in May, Love Island Games season three was announced at the NBCUniversal upfront presentation.
According to Deadline, the next season of the spinoff competition will debut in the fall of 2027.
If you’re unfamiliar, Love Island Games brings together “fan-favorite Islanders from various Love Island series across the globe – USA, UK, Australia and beyond – for a second shot at love as they compete in a brand-new format to be crowned champions of Love Island Games.”
In the show, “romance will meet reality as fan-favorite Islanders are faced with both team and couples’ challenges, all while navigating dating, eliminations, recoupling, dramatic arrivals and new competition twists and turns like never before.”
She is also co-hosting the Love Island USA season eight reunion, set to air on August 31st.
If you missed it, Ariana recently commented on claims that more queer representation in the Love Island cast wouldn’t work with the show’s format.
