Coming later this year, a full length concert film of George Michals 1988 “Faith Tour”.
This is particularly of note because it was shot on 14 different 35mm film cameras, across two nights in Paris. A live album will also be released to accompany it.

The “Faith Tour” featured 109 shows from 1988 to 1989, taking place in the U.S., Canada, Japan, Oceania, and Europe.
In later interviews, George would say while he was proud of that tour and how ambitious it was, he never wanted to do something like that again. Tours would be far smaller after that. It wasn’t until 2006 that he went all out for the “25 Tour”, which he performed 106 shows over the course of 2 years.
I’m not a big enough stan to know as much, but clearly this was filmed at the time for a potential release back in the day, but it just never happened. Fans have had to settle for low quality camcorder recordings of shows from the tour all this time, with a few jumbo-tron feeds here and there.
