Kristi Noem is reportedly getting a divorce.
A new report claims that Kristi and her husband Byron Noem are separating amid the claims that he likes to cross-dress and wear fake breasts.
Kristi and Byron have been married for 34 years and the allegations about him, which surfaced in March 2026, reportedly were a shock and a surprise to her.
Kristi‘s mom Corinne Arnold confirm the breakup to Daily Mail and said, “It has been difficult, but we knew this was coming, that they were going to get divorced.”
Corinne says the last time she saw Kristi and Byron together was at one of their kids’ birthday parties in late spring in South Dakota. At that party, she confronted her daughter and asked about the status of their relationship.
“I said, ‘What’s the deal? Are you going to get together again?’ And she said, ‘No. No. We’re going to get a divorce.’ And I said, ‘Who is your lawyer?’ And she said it was somebody from Sioux Falls,” Corinne added.
In March 2026, Kristi‘s rep said, “Ms. Noem is devastated. The family was blindsided by this, and they ask for privacy and prayers at the time.”
The original report in question came from the Daily Mail, who allege: “Kristi Noem’s husband is today revealed as a secret crossdresser who dons gigantic fake breasts and pink hotpants to chat with online fetish models.” The site added they “reviewed hundreds of messages involving three women from the ‘bimbofication’ scene – where porn performers transform themselves into real-life Barbie dolls by pumping colossal amounts of saline into their breasts.”
According to the report, he allegedly said he enjoyed “huge, huge ridiculous boobs” and is also alleged to have sent thousands of dollars in payments.
The outlet also published a photo it claims shows him wearing fake breasts.
Kristi and Bryon have been married since 1992 and have three kids together: Kassidy, Kennedy and Booker.
