She revealed after filming Obsession that she went a year and a half without landing an acting role after filming Obsession, despite continuing to pursue opportunities.
“I was auditioning, I was doing everything, just nothing was sticking,” she told Complex. “I wanted to pay rent and I wanted to do things. So I was walking dogs, I was streaming, doing everything I could.”

Obsession recently grossed over $370M worldwide at the box office. It surpasses Sinners now becoming the highest grossing live-action original film of the 2020s.
