Bruno Tonioli is reflecting on his time on Dancing With the Stars, as well as addressing his future.
The 70-year-old choreographer and dancer, who first joined the series in the inaugural season in 2005, is set to return for Season 35 later this year. But has he considered planning an exit?
“The thing with me, I’m kind of the least planning person,” he said to TVLine about whether he’s going to leave the series anytime soon.
“I love my job. I really, really enjoy it. That’s really the reason. I enjoy the public,” he said, adding that the crowd reaction during tapings feels “like a Broadway show…there is such instant feedback you get from the audience.”
“The kids really excite me, I’m not making it up. They deliver work of the highest standard and I’m always excited about watching what they’re going to do,” he added.
Bruno says he’ll be with the show until they don’t “want” him anymore
“Until they [don’t] want me, I’ll be there. Because I really love the show. I really do,” Bruno said.
When he was told “there’s no Dancing With the Stars without Bruno,” the responded: “Oh, I don’t know about that. I hope so!”
“[Hopefully], we never find out, darling,” he added with a laugh. Watch above!
At the same time, Val Chmerkovskiy is flattered that Ciara Miller wants him as her Dancing With the Stars partner.
The Summer House star, who was recently announced as a contestant for season 35 of the hit ABC competition series, previously revealed that Val was at the top of her wish list when it comes to potential pro partners. Now, the longtime DWTS favorite is responding.
