Billed as a “once-in-a-generation celebration,” the Great American State Fair will take place from June 25th through July 10th at venues spanning from the US Capitol to the Washington Monument to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States of America.
The event promises carnival rides and other “hands-on activations,” including programming ranging from “Faith, Values, and Inspiration Day” to “MAHA Mondays.”
Today the performer lineup was announced, which includes Vanilla Ice, Milli Vanilli, Bret Michaels, Flo Rida, Morris Day & The Time, C+C Music Factory, Martin McBride, The Commodores, and Martina McBride.
A few hours later, two performers announced on social media that they would not be performing at the event.
Morris Day did not offer an explanation and referred to it as a rumor:
