Prison Break is officially moving forward at Hulu, and Kelli Berglund has joined the cast of the upcoming reboot series.

Kelli, who is best known for roles in Now Apocalypse, Heels, and Disney’s Lab Rats, has been cast as a female inmate named Cheyenne.

Priscilla Delgado originally played the role in the pilot, but Deadline reports that Kelli will now take over the part as part of a recast.

The cast of Hulu’s new Prison Break series also includes Emily Browning, Drake Rodger, Lukas Gage, Clayton Cardenas, JR Bourne, Georgie Flores, and Myles Bullock.

Guest stars in the pilot include Margo Martindale, Ray McKinnon, Donal Logue, Lili Taylor, and Sylvester Powell.

The Prison Break reboot was officially ordered to series last October.

The new series will take place in the same universe as the original Fox drama, though it is not expected to feature characters from the original show.

The original Prison Break debuted in 2005 and starred Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell. The hit series ran for four seasons and was followed by a made-for-TV movie. In 2017, Fox revived the franchise with a limited series.

Here’s the official synopsis for the new show: “In the new Prison Break, a soldier-turned-corrections officer takes a job at one of the deadliest prisons in America to prove just how far she’ll go for someone she loves.”
