Chrishell Stause is defending herself after her criticism of Katharine McPhee went viral online.
If you didn’t know, the Selling Sunset star posted a comment in response to a TikTok chronicling the American Idol runner-up’s first marriage to Nick Cokas through her current marriage to husband David Foster.
In the comments section, Chrishell called out Katharine for supporting “problematic men” and added that “an insecure woman will steal your man, and give the worst advice.”
Katharine eventually found out about the remarks after they began circulating online and responded publicly. Chrishell has now addressed the situation again on Threads after pop culture account @jordycray reposted an E! News infographic about the situation.
Jordy quoted a post from E! News on Threads, writing, “Not my video causing this drama, oh well. Katharine is a LOSER!”
The former Netflix reality star then replied, “It’s so annoying that the article doesn’t include what I was even responding to. But if you are in these streets campaigning for Trump backed Pratt, yeah I’m gonna eye roll your advice on men Katherine.”
Chrishell is referring to Spencer Pratt, who is running for Los Angeles mayor. Katharine recently showed her support to Pratt by performing at one of his fundraising campaign events.
“Right. Important context is missing. I just linked my video in the comments. Thanks for always being a real one,” Jordy continued in the thread.
Chrishell later responded again, calling out E! News for allegedly hiding her “2 comments on the post on IG.”
