Katie Price‘s husband Lee Andrews has abruptly quit social media after a series of failed attempts to reach the UK – despite repeatedly insisting he was on his way.

Katie Price has confirmed her husband Lee Andrews has quit social media amid the mystery surrounding his failed attempts to join her in the UK

The businessman had claimed throughout the week that he was travelling to Britain, but he failed to join his other half on Good Morning Britain on May 12. Attention quickly turned to the long‑running rumours that he is unable to leave Dubai due to a travel ban.

Lee attempted to shut down the speculation by posting videos he said were filmed at Muscat Airport in Oman, but he still never arrived – and has now disappeared from social media entirely.

Katie confirmed her husband’s sudden online silence, insisting the couple were united despite the chaos.

She posted to her Instagram Story on Friday (15.05.26): “Due to all the madness of trolling, people’s speculation and media frenzy that as a married couple we have both decided @wesleeeandrews is taking a break from social media and we are keeping things between us for now as it’s our life and marriage and are very happy.”

But behind the scenes, tensions have been rising.

Despite Katie insisting they are “very happy”, she had earlier admitted she felt “let down” by Lee and called him “a d***” for not making it to the UK for the broadcast.

The pair claim it’s business-related reasons for him not making it to Britain.

However, there are reports that an UAE travel ban is the mystery behind his no-shows.

GMB host Susanna Reid told Katie live on air that the Foreign Office had “supported a British man detained in the United Arab Emirates”.

Katie jumped to his defence on air, stating: “He just didn’t make the flight… because of his business he had some things he had to do last minute.”

Lee insisted: “No one was detained. Sorry I got delayed and couldn’t make the show. I love you so much Katie and I’m on my way to you.”

It was reported Lee – who has denied allegations he can’t leave Dubai after allegedly forging his ex-girlfriend Dina Taji’s signature to secure a £200,000 loan – was “detained” at the airport, but Katie insisted at the time he had simply missed the flight due to work.

But she admitted to her sister Sophie on The Katie Price Show podcast he had told her he “was at the airport and couldn’t get on the flight’ because of an issue with his visa.

She added: “I phoned the foreign office up and gave them Lee’s name and date of birth and they said that they had detained a British man.”

Katie then expressed her frustration with the situation.

Sophie said: “I feel like he is massively mugging you off. And he’s done it on live TV.”

Katie replied: “I have said to him, ‘You’ve made me look like a d***, you’ve made yourself look like a massive d***.”
