Prince Harry has slammed claims about his recent meeting with King Charles III.
He accused sources of being ‘intent on sabotaging’ his attempt at reconciliation with his family, as he says he did not give his father a picture of his wife.
In a statement Saturday, the Duke of Sussex called the “sabotaging” remarks “categorically false.”
“Recent reporting of The Duke’s view of the tone of the meeting is categorically false,” Harry’s spokesperson told People. Prince Harry has denied claims that his recent meeting with King Charles left him feeling like an “official visitor” rather than a family member
“The quotes attributed to him are pure invention fed, one can only assume, by sources intent on sabotaging any reconciliation between father and son. Presumably, those same sources have also chosen to disclose that gifts were exchanged.” The rep did confirm, however, that Harry gave his father a photograph during their meeting.
