A new report was published that revealed the show’s apparent title, the lead character’s description, and more.

Right now, Deadline is reporting that the show is titled The Rookie North.
The lead is apparently a man named Alex, who is a “former overachiever who becomes a rookie cop after his life did not go as planned.”
Deadline also notes that the cast of characters will include rookies, training officers, and a police chief.
The site then reported that the show is “gaining momentum” to be given a pilot order from ABC and would likely happen after the leading role is set. They’ve apparently been talking to a “handful of known actors” for the lead!
While ABC did renew the OG Rookie for another season, 2 shows did get canceled by the network.
