Sir Rod Stewart has become a grandfather for the sixth time.
Rod Stewart has welcomed a new addition to his family
The Maggie May hitmaker, 81, has seen his family expand with the arrival of his daughter Ruby’s second son with her fiancé Jake Kalick, Levi Rhodes Kalick, who arrived weighing over 9lbs on August 4.
The 39-year-old musician and her future husband also have a three-year-old son called Otis.
Posting a series of pictures of the new arrival, she wrote on Instagram: “We welcomed our little (big) Levi Rhodes Kalick at 6:58pm on 8/4/26 at 9lbs 20inches….
“His name Levi means My Heart and his arrival has grown our hearts to 10 times the size… seeing Otis and Levi meet for the first time might have been the greatest experience of my life so far…
“Otis is already the best big brother and we are already so in love with this sweet boy… Welcome sweet Levi!”
Ruby’s mother, former model Kelly Emberg, could be seen beaming with joy alongside her new grandchild.
The Faces rocker has eight children with five different women – sons Alastair and Aidan with third wife Penny, as well as Renee and Liam with his second wife, model Rachel Hunter.
He also has Kimberly and Sean from his first marriage to actress Alana Stewart.
Rod’s first-born child was Sarah Streeter, who was raised by her adoptive parents Gerald and Evelyn Thubron and he is also granddad to Kim’s daughter Delilah.
His son Liam also has two children, son Louie and daughter Elsie.
Recently, the music legend issued an apology after he attended a World Cup game the day after cancelling a concert due to ill health.
The Sailing hitmaker pulled out of a show in California on June 12 just hours before it was due to start after contracting laryngitis, but the following day, he faced a backlash when he posted a video of himself and sons flying to Boston in a private jet to watch his beloved Scotland take on Haiti.
He insisted he didn’t want to let his kids down after years of promising they would go to the tournament if Scotland qualified.
Speaking to Jim White on talkSport, he said: “No, I got an awful… I really shouldn’t have gone to the Haiti game. You know, I had to cancel a show the night before because I just had no voice left.
“But the truth is, Jim, I wasn’t going to let my two sons down.
“I promised them since they were born that we were going to go to a World Cup. And this is the first one that’s come about. And it wasn’t a good look, I admit, but I’m going to have to just take the stick. So I did it for the boys.”
After Rod “regretfully” cancelled the concert, he faced a backlash when he posted a video of himself and his sons flying to Boston for the game.
