Sarah Silverman is owning up to her past mistakes.
If you didn’t know, the 54-year-old comedian hosted The Sarah Silverman Program on Comedy Central from 2007 to 2010. During its run, there were multiple instances of her and the cast members using racial slurs and doing blackface.
However, Sarah has stepped forward and apologized for her choices in a recent interview.

“I felt like the temperature of the world around me at the time was ‘We are all liberal so we can say the n-word. We aren’t racist, so we can say this derogatory stuff.’ I was playing a character that was arrogant and ignorant, so I thought it was OK. Looking back, my intentions were always good, but they were f—ing ignorant,” she told Rolling Stone.
If you didn’t see, Sarah recently revealed the A-lister who “saved” her career after she was fired from Saturday Night Live.
