-Comcast has made the decision to split up NBCU into various media companies ensuring that tv as we know it will never be the same.
-MSNBC, CNBC, E!, Syfy, USA, Oxygen, Golf Channel, Fandango and Rotten Tomatoes wil be spun out into their own company, which will be led by Mark Lazarus.
-USA and Golf Channel will be the home for sports, with rights to WWE, NASCAR, Premier League, golf, college basketball and the Olympics though the problem arises since they do not own the rights to the sports deals. That is all under NBCUniversal.
-All of those channels were also apart of Peacock and now that they are becoming their own companies it could see their content taken off of the service.
-Bravo is the ONLY cable channel that NBCUniversal is keeping. There are questions whether NBCU will leave the channel as is or fold it into NBC proper.
-Bravo/E! acted as siblings with sharing talent and cross-streaming certain shows – now they will no longer be in the same company.
-With the split, it could see each of them making their own streaming services or pairing with other streamers or buy programming from other networks.
-In the immortal words of Miss Juicy: What the hell we gone do now?
