Singer and actress Rapp called for the ceasefire during the GLAAD awards. Rapp joins other celebrities, such as Mark Ruffalo, Billie Eilish, Ava DuVernay and Ramy Youssef, who have explicitly called for a ceasefire or who have shown support for one through red ceasfire pins. During Sunday’s Academy Awards, before heading into the auditorium, Ruffalo said: “The Palestinian protest shut down the Oscars tonight! Humanity wins!”
