Denzel Washington will star in Spike Lee’s ‘HIGH AND LOW’ for A24.
The film will be remake of Akira Kurosawa’s crime thriller of the same name.

– Akira Kurosawa’s High and Low is being remade by the man who wiped his ass with Park Chan Wook’s Old Boy.
– Denzel Washington will star in the Apple / A24 co-production.
– The original 1963 film is renowned for it’s 2 act structure and stage blocking.
– The plot follows the story of a board member for a Japanese company who is forced to make a decision between using a vast amount of wealth to gain executive control or helping his employee by lending him the money to free his child from kidnappers.
