According to recently filed court documents, Grimes (35) had a difficult time trying to get ahold of Musk (52) to serve him with custody papers and tried to track him down in at least 12 different locations.
Grimes hired four different process servers who went to Musk’s X’s headquarters in San Francisco, SpaceX’s launch site in Boca Chica, Texas, Tesla’s factory in Austin and other addresses within the southern city. One of the process servers reportedly even went to Musk’s horse ranch in Texas but was told by a woman, “Nope, not here.”
They also tracked his private jets.
After multiple failed attempts, Grimes’ process servers were reportedly forced to leave the legal documents with Musk’s security at X, Tesla and SpaceX.
