Public holidays – South Australia

• 13 March – Adelaide Cup Day
• Fun fact: 26 December is technically Proclamation Day rather than Boxing Day in South Australia

Public holidays – ACT

• 13 March – Canberra Day
• 29 May – Reconciliation Day

Public holidays – Tasmania

• 13 March – Eight Hours Day

Certain regions of Tasmania get public holidays for Show Days, including King Island Show on 7 March, Royal Launceston Show on 12 October, and Devonport Show on 1 December.
