Fraser Olender is back on TV tonight (October 12) with the season 13 premiere of Below Deck!
The 32-year-old reality star returns as Chief Stew on the Bravo series, marking his fifth season on the show and his fourth in that role.
“Despite clashing personalities, green crew members and the challenges of adapting to a new boat, Fraser once again thrives under pressure while creating elaborate theme nights and unforgettable beach excursions throughout Thailand,” Bravo’s description of the new season teases.
While the new season kicks off, it’s likely that Fraser might mention his relationship status, and we’ve got all the details about who he’ll be referring to!
Fraser Olender was dating Matt Rogers while filming Below Deck season 13
While Fraser is seemingly currently single, at the time of filming the new season of his show, he was in a relationship with comedian, actor, and singer Matt Rogers!
The pair were rumored to be dating in the fall of 2025, and they confirmed they were a couple in November, when they made their public debut at 2025 BravoCon in Las Vegas.
“So Matt Rogers, I guess he’s public with Fraser from Below Deck. They are dating,” Andy Cohen said on his SiriusXM radio show, adding that they were “together” in Vegas during BravoCon.
“They were lovely together, I love them together. It was so cute,” Andy added. “It was just great. They were so wonderful.”
Right before that though, Fraser shared a cute photo of them from the taping of the Wicked: One Wonderful Night television special, which took place in September.
When did they start dating and how did they meet?
While appearing on Today with Jenna and Sheinelle, Matt revealed that he slid into Fraser‘s DMs!
“He was invited to the Culture Awards last year and couldn’t make it, so he said something nice about the awards in an interview, and I slid in his DMs and said, ‘Hey, thanks for saying something nice.’ And now he’s my guy,” he shared.
At BravoCon, Fraser was hospitalized for a heart attack and lung injury caused by vaping, and Matt was by his side.
“A very special human stayed with me until 5am whilst I laid there useless, attached to multiple machines and pumped with meds – sooo grateful for him, the nurses and the docs!” Fraser shared on Instagram, referring to Matt.
While recalling that time on his Las Culturistas podcast in April 2026, Matt revealed how long they were together, saying, “We really had only been dating for about three months. We were already really enjoying being together, and then there was this health stuff that entered, and that accelerated things.”
In early 2026, Fraser went off to film the new season of Below Deck, so naturally, the couple took a bit of space from each other while they both focused on their careers.

He added, “I’m going to see him soon but while he’s been gone and I’ve been sort of busy doing my own thing, we kind of did just take a little bit of space just because of how intense everything had gotten and personal things.”

Six months after making their public debut at BravoCon, Fraser and Matt made their red carpet debut at the taping of the 2026 Las Culturistas Culture Awards!
“Fraser actually was invited last year and couldn’t make it. He did an interview right after that saying he was disappointed to miss it. It was because of that interview that I even DM’d him! In a way, the Culture Awards were the intro to how we even started talking. I was happy to have him by my side,” Matt told Out in June about their red carpet debut.
They broke up in July 2026
Two months after their red carpet debut, it was revealed that the couple had broken up after nearly a year of dating.
A source told People they had “mutually decided to part ways,” but added that “they remain friends.”
