Rihanna is teasing fans with a new anecdote about her music!
The 38-year-old singer and entrepreneur hasn’t released a new album in ten years, but in the time since, has dropped a couple of songs for movie soundtracks.
During a Fenty Beauty TikTok livestream earlier this week, Rihanna was asked, “How many unreleased songs are you sitting on?”
She turned away and smirked, before holding up a Fenty box, counting across it.
“If there are ten products in a vault, then I have at least 17 vaults,” she revealed.
When you do the math, that equates to 170 songs!
Rihanna‘s last album was ANTI in 2016, and she’s taken quite the step back from music to focus on Fenty Beauty, Savage x Fenty, and being a mom.
While Rihanna hasn’t released much new music, she has hit the stage and performed on two major occasions.
Back in 2023, she headlined the Super Bowl LVII halftime show, where she revealed she was pregnant with her second child. Then, this past summer, Rihanna joined Jay-Z during his Extra Innings concert at Yankee Stadium for a surprise performance.
In February 2026, Rihanna teased that she was working on more new music by sharing a video from the studio!
Her partner, A$AP Rocky, recently teased that Rihanna is “cooking” in the studio and is actively working on music.
