Former Dancing with the Stars pro dancer Sasha Farber was not included in the cast list again this year, and he’s disclosing a bit more about what’s happening behind the scenes.
The 42-year-old ballroom expert kicked off his pro journey on the ABC hit during season 17 when he was paired with Snooki. He did not act as a pro again until season 22, and was consistently included up until last year. He returned during season 34 as a social media correspondent, but was not a pro.
Now, the cast for season 35 was just announced this week, and Sasha was once again not included.
On TikTok, a fan wrote to him, “Genuinely at this point you’re all over social and they’re leveraging you …. is this your choice? Are you wanting to be behind the scenes and move into like a hosting entertainment tonight Derek hough thing?”
Sasha then apparently responded in a now-deleted comment.
“Not my choice,” he supposedly wrote in response, per Us Weekly.
